Dr. Mostowfi is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been in private practice in the Chicagoland area for over 25 years. During these years, he has served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, President of the Southern Cook County Branch of the Chicago Medical Society, and Delegate to the Illinois State Medical Society.
Dr. Mostowfi completed his surgical fellowship at Lahey Clinic in Boston, his surgical residency and internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and earned his medical degree from the Tehran Medical School. He is currently an attending physician at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois; Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Illinois; and Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Illinois.
